Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,362 per week in Bridgeport, WV

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: ACLS Certification Description: Required experience in all areas of the Operating Room. Willingness to cross-train to Endoscopy. Call schedule includes one weeknight call every 4 weeks from 7 PM to 7 AM and one weekend shift call on either a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, up to 24 hours per 3-month contract. The department includes 11 total rooms: 8 Operating Room suites and 3 Endoscopy suites, handling approximately 25 cases per day out of 65 total. Familiarity with Baxter pumps and robotic systems, specifically DaVinci, is a significant plus. The team sees various types of cases, excluding open heart surgeries, including vascular (not open hearts), general, orthopedic, neurology, eyes, and ENT procedures. All permanent staff must possess ACLS certification due to modern sedation protocols. The operating environment is classified as Trauma Level 2 in an acute care setting.
