Description:
This is a travel position for an experienced Operating Room RN.
The role does not require floating between units.
On-call may be required for 1-2 days a week and 1-2 weekends per month.
Weekends are not mandatory, and block scheduling is not required.
The expected patient ratio is 1:1.
Special requirements include experience in Orthopedic, General, GYN, Podiatry, C-section, and Endoscopy.
The facility is a Short-Term Acute Care facility with a total of 61 staff beds.
Daily census is typically between 5-6 patients.
There are 5 operating rooms in the unit.
Candidates are expected to fulfill call requirements as stated.
Professionals must commit to working 3 out of the 5 major holidays each year.
References covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required.
All initial requests for time off must be submitted upfront during the hiring process.
Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities if necessary.
The facility may provide communication devices required for the role at no cost.
