Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,367 per week in Sterling, VA

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 17:15 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Operating room experience in General OR for 1-2 years. Experience with Orthopedic Spine procedures. Description: This position involves working in the operating room. The unit has two operating rooms with a patient ratio of 1:1. Staffing includes circulators/scrub nurses and assistants. The environment utilizes paper charting for documentation. Scheduled shifts are Monday to Friday, subject to case volume. Floating to other centers within the division may occur. Patient experience focuses on Orthopedics, Sports, Total Joints, Spine, Podiatry, and Hands. Required procedures include all orthopedic surgeries such as Total Joints, Sports, and Spine operations. Advanced skills required for Total Joints and Sports procedures, including Arthroscopy and ACL repairs. Nurses must also perform procedures related to Podiatry and Hand specialties. The dress code includes grey scrubs, which are provided. Unit-specific policies and guidelines are in place to enhance patient care.
