Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,369 per week in Arlington, VA

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferred Must-Have: Proficiency in all specialties, particularly ortho, breast/plastics, urology, GYN, and general. Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with Epic charting system preferred. Ability to scrub various surgical procedures including general surgery, GYN, breast/plastics, urology, ortho, and more. Description: Seeking a proficient Operating Room Registered Nurse. The position will involve caring for patients undergoing surgical procedures. A total of 35 cases are handled daily. The surgical services include general surgery, gynecology, breast/plastics, urology, orthopedic, and podiatry. The RN will be required to sign up for late stay call as needed. Candidates must be prepared to work during flu season. Compliance with flu vaccination requirements is necessary. Travelers must have an active nursing license. The facility is smoke and nicotine-free. Candidates should keep requests for time off to a minimum. Expectations include flexibility to work some holidays. Interdisciplinary support includes various teams such as IV, phlebotomy, and rapid response. The unit consists of 6 rooms, providing care primarily for adults and geriatric patients. Travelers should provide a statement of Epic experience with their application. All candidates must be willing to undergo training or testing for the Epic system.
