Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a dynamic surgical team. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care, assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced operating room environment. Candidates must have strong orthopedic surgical experience and the ability to adapt to different OR settings as floating may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide circulating nursing support during surgical procedures.
- Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment prior to procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery to ensure safety and stability.
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to surgical safety protocols.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure efficient workflow.
- Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately in the Epic EMR system.
- Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled.
- Float to other operating rooms within sister campuses if needed.
