Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,390 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – Night Shift – Columbus, Ohio

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. Call coverage required Monday-Friday 9:00 PM - 6:30 AM, and weekends 12-hour shifts. Holiday and weekend rotations required. Approximately 3 weekend shifts per 13-week contract.

Highlights:

• Work in a Level 1 Trauma center with 18-bed operating room performing 45-50 surgical procedures daily
• Diverse surgical case mix including general surgery, robotic surgery, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, spinal surgery, ENT, transplant, and more
• Advanced surgical technology including DaVinci Xi Robot system and complex transplant procedures
• Epic charting system utilized across the facility
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Float opportunities to different units within the organization as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• REQUIRED: DaVinci Xi Robot experience (proficient level)
• REQUIRED: Liver transplant experience (proficient level)
• MUST have experience in at least one of the following: Neurology OR Orthopedic surgery
• PREFERRED: Ophthalmology (eye) surgery experience
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director

Additional Information:

Parking options are available with monthly and annual permit options ranging from approximately $196-$225 per month depending on location selected. One pre-approved time off period available during contract. Strict compliance requirements including urgent Ohio fingerprinting process must be completed immediately upon contract signing. Former employees eligible after 6 months away from the facility. Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
