Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00-16:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI required Must-Have: Strong written and verbal skills; basic computer knowledge Description: Demonstrates proficiency and independence in the care of patients and their families/significant others. Applies and documents the nursing process, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Consults with staff and physicians on nursing problems and to ensure patient needs are met. Continues to learn new skills and maintains clinical competency to provide direct and safe patient care. Meets expectations of applicable competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. Promotes positive public relations for the department by presenting oneself in a professional manner. Assists in community service programs as requested.
