Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,407 per week in Springfield, MO

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort. Utilizes nursing process in all aspects of patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of care. Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Ensures patient rights and confidentiality of patient information are upheld. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and established guidelines of nursing practice. Demonstrated skill in human relations and communications is required. Must possess clinical expertise in their area of responsibility. Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time on duty. Required to lift and push patients on stretchers and wheelchairs. Works primarily in a clean, air-conditioned area. Physical requirements include pushing, pulling, gripping up to 50 lbs., and minimal kneeling or crawling. Preferable to have multiple years of experience in Level 1 trauma settings. Personality fit should reflect a highly motivated self-starter. Dress code includes provided scrubs; professional attire is required. Night shift orientation may occur during the day for the first week. Patient ratios typically maintain 1:1 for optimal care. Utilizes various medical equipment, including DaVinci for robotic procedures. Job requires effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.
