**Join Our Dynamic Nursing Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Competent Nurse in a fast-paced surgical setting. - **Shift:** 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. - **Patient Population:** - Limited pediatric cases (orthopedic only) - Adults and geriatric patients - **Responsibilities:** - Deliver routine and complex care, demonstrating independence and awareness in clinical situations. - Utilize the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. - Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. - Document patient histories, symptoms, treatments, and care provided. - Assess learning needs; provide education to patients, families, and caregivers. - **Requirements:** - **Education:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. - **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in related nursing specialty preferred. - **Certifications:** - BLS required - RN License in state of employment or compact. - **Nurse/Patient Ratio:** 1:1. - **Floating Requirement:** Opportunity to float between campuses as needed (primarily within the OR). - **On-Call Requirement:** 1-2 times per week and every 3rd weekend (Friday to Sunday). **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
