Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,430 per week in Neptune, NJ

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: Registered Nurse license (NJ State or multi-state compact license) Certifications: BLS - AHA Must-Have: Level I Trauma Experience Description: Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments. Responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room. Float requirement to ASC as needed. Must perform endovascular, spine, neuro, ortho, and ortho trauma procedures. Scrub experience is a plus. Skills required include clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Effective communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel is essential.
