Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,435 per week in Alexandria, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 10 Hours Hours per Shift: 0700 - 1730 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in similar specialty License: VA RN License required Certifications: BLS (RN and Tech), CST Must-Have: Experience in Orthopedics, DaVinci Xi, general surgery, urology Description: 7 Operating Room suites available. Average number of cases per day is between 15-25. Common cases include general and colorectal surgeries (laparoscopic, open, DaVinci Xi), total joints in orthopedics (hips, knees, shoulders), arthroscopy, orthopedic spine, urology, plastics (medical and cosmetic), and ENT. Scrubbing required for Registered Nurses. Charge Nurse role available. Call requirements include 2-3 weekends of 12-hour shifts within a six-week scheduling period. Additional weeknight and weekend call may be required based on unit needs. One major holiday call required. Call response time is 45 minutes. Floating to other areas of the facility is not required. Five days of department orientation are provided. Scrubs will be provided. EMR system used is EPIC. Skills-based hiring is enabled. Weekend expectations include only call requirements. On-call expectations include 2-3 twelve-hour weekend call shifts in a six-week period. Epic access is required.
