Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 hours Hours per Shift: 0700 - 1730 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Virginia Nursing License Certifications: BLS (for RN and Tech), CST Must-Have: - Experience in Orthopedics, total joints, orthopedic spine, general surgery, urology, and DaVinci Xi. - Scrubbing required for RN. Description: Community Client with 7 OR suites. Open 24/7. Staffed Monday - Friday. Weekdays after 7 PM and weekends are staffed with on-call teams. Average number of cases per day is between 15-25. Call requirements are 2-3 weekends (12-hour call shifts) in a six-week schedule period. Additional call may be required during weeknights and/or weekends based on unit needs. One major holiday requirement. Mandatory call/standby requirement exists. Call response time is 45 minutes. No floating to other areas of the hospital. 5 days of department-specific orientation. Scrubs are provided. Electronic Medical Record system utilized is EPIC. Enable skills-based hiring. Shift expectations are 0700-1730. Weekend call expectations are only call requirements. No floating expectations. On-call expectations are 2-3 twelve-hour call shifts in a six-week period. One major holiday expectation. Access to Epic is required.
