Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,445 per week in Indianapolis, IN

Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specified areas License: Must have an active license in hand prior to start date Certifications: Required certifications include BCLS Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - Minimum of 2 years experience in the following: - Circulating - General Surgery - Orthopedic Surgery - Robotics - Gynecological Surgery - Thoracic Surgery - Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery - Oral Surgery - Urology - Whipple Procedures - Plastics (free flap) - Liver resection - Experience with Da Vinci XI and DV5 surgical systems within the last 3 years Description: This position requires the ability to work charge when requested and within the job scope. Candidates with scrub experience are preferred. Travelers must be willing to float within the facility or to nearby affiliates as needed. The average daily census in the operating room is between 70-80 patients. Patients seen include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. There is a call requirement of 40-60 hours spread over a six-week schedule. All travelers are expected to comply with floating requirements. Clinical experience must include specific surgeries performed in the last three years. Travelers should be able to assist with all necessary procedures within the operating room. The workweek may involve weekend coverage and holiday duties.
