Description

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 3 years of Level I Trauma experience required License: Indiana RN License required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience is required. Circulating abilities are required; scrubbing experience is preferred. Candidates must have experience in general, plastic, gynecological, ENT, urological, trauma, neurological, orthopedic, and colorectal surgeries. Description: We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse. The position requires experience in at least two years of Level I Trauma. Call shifts are required as part of the schedule. Candidates must be available to work during major holidays. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must be willing to float within the surgical department as needed. This position involves a mix of circulating and scrubbing. The daily patient census in the unit typically ranges from 70 to 80. The environment includes a variety of surgical procedures. Candidates should be well-rounded and up-to-date in all areas except cardiovascular and transplant surgeries. Local residents are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the requirements for holiday work.
