Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,445 per week in Indianapolis, IN

Job Title: Transplant OR Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of strong transplant experience required License: Must have a valid license at the time of start Certifications: BLS, Regulatory Charting for Transplants Must-Have: Transplant experience with kidney experience required Ability to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room with a focus on Transplant procedures. The nurse will work primarily with abdominal transplants, including kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal/multi-visceral procedures. Weekend availability is preferred. Candidates new to transplant are accepted as long as they meet the required experience. The nurse will participate in call requirements of 40-60 hours every 6 weeks. Floating to multi-specialty surgeries is required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary support is necessary. Previous experience with organ donation and transplant robotic surgery is a plus. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
