Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,454 per week in Falls Church, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours (0700-1530) and 12 hours (0700-1930) Experience: 2 years required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS (must be AHA) Must-Have: Level 1 or 2 trauma experience required. Travel experience preferred (at least 1-2 assignments; cannot be first travel assignment). Neonate and pediatric experience preferred, as well as trauma experience. Description: Team self-schedules for shifts and call. Weekend requirement: 2-3 shifts per 6-week schedule period. Call schedule: 3-4 weekday shifts and 3-4 weekend shifts (4 hours) in a 6-week schedule. Holiday and night rotation as needed by the unit. Holiday requirement: at least 1 major holiday. Facility operates 28 OR rooms with an average of 70-85 cases per day. Scrubs provided. Weekend staffing: 7-8 ORs on Saturday and 5-6 ORs on Sunday; primarily urgent cases with some scheduled. Operating room services include Orthopedics including total joints, general surgery, robotics, organ transplants, ENT, Oral/Maxillofacial, Vascular/Thoracic, Urology, and Pediatrics. Float as needed to other ORs based on low census needs. Epic access needed.
