Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,478 per week in Salem, OR

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years License: Not required at time of submission (pending is acceptable) Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Epic charting experience is a hard stop requirement. Description: Seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for the day shift. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The schedule consists of weekday shifts that are 10 hours long, with variable start times. There will be required night call shifts of 8 hours from 2300 to 0700. Weekend shifts are scheduled with weekend call as needed. Up to 6 shifts of call and/or weekend shifts may occur during a 6-week schedule. The unit provides care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 60 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams and rapid response teams. Candidates should have experience with various surgical procedures. Skills required include abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, laparoscopic procedures, and trauma care. Travelers are expected to float if necessary. Refusal to float may result in contract cancellation.
