Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,494 per week in Omaha, NE

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro/ENT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of OR RN experience required License: Nebraska RN State License required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Must have predominant experience in Neuro skillsets. Experience with Lap chole, Lap appy, Ex lap, I&D, Bariatric, Colorectal, PEG & Trach, and DaVinci cases is required. DaVinci experience is highly preferred. Oncology and Orthopedic experience is highly preferred. Experience with Craniotomy with Aneurysms and Craniotomy with Tumor is required. Description: Operating Room Registered Nurse for day shift with possible night shift rotation. There may be off-shifting (1-3 shifts in a week) every 4-week scheduling period, but often there is no off-shifting. Weeknight call requirements average 1-2 nights per week. Weekend call requirements are approximately every 4-5 weeks for 24 hours on Saturday or Sunday and 1-2 days per month. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated. Previous travel experience is required. Candidates must be 100% nicotine-free. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. Travelers will have different pay structures compared to core staff members. Supervision, interaction, and support from interdisciplinary teams are part of the role. Daily patient census may vary from 1-3 per room. Common cases include craniotomy with aneurysms, craniotomy with tumors, shunts, and various ENT procedures. Additional cases may involve spinal fusions, laminectomy, and complex surgical procedures.
