Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,504 per week in Tuba City, AZ

Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour shifts Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Valid RN license from any state of residence Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six (6) months of hire - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six (6) months of hire - Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) within one (1) year of hire - Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within two (2) years of hire Must-Have: - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing - Two (2) years of clinical nurse and/or operating room practical experience Description: The Clinical Nurse provides care for the perioperative patient. The nursing process includes assessment, formulation of nursing diagnoses, planning interventions, and evaluation of interventions based on patient outcomes. The Operating Room clinical nurse is expected to circulate in all specialty areas. These specialty areas may include Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, and Dental. Obtaining scrubbing experience is highly encouraged. The nurse may have to work varied, odd hours when on call and prepare for emergency cases on very short notice.
