Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all surgical equipment is ready and sterile
- Assist surgeons during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment
- Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after surgery
- Uphold strict safety protocols and infection control measures
- Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthetists, and post-op care units
- Document procedures and patient care accurately and promptly
Requirements of the Travel nurse
- Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in an Operating Room setting
