Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, call up to 40 hours on a 6-week schedule Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with hysterectomy, gynecology, total joints, general surgery, bariatric surgery, Davinci Robot, ENT, thoracics, neuro spine, and plastics Description: A professional nurse is an individual accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) focuses on safe effective patient and family-centered care. The RN is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit. The RN promotes his/her own development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education supported by a Practice Governance framework. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members. The RN has the responsibility to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
