Must-Have:
BLS certification is required.
Mandatory reporter certification is required.
2 years of experience is required.
First-time travelers are welcome.
Epic experience is required.
CNOR certification is preferred.
Patient ratios are 3:1.
Description:
As a member of the interdisciplinary team,
the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills
in the provision and management of care to patients.
The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline
across local campuses.
Types of surgery include outpatient surgeries and infusion patients,
involving infusion medications and some titrations,
such as blood, platelets, IVIG, IV fluids, and antibiotics.
Chemotherapy is not included.
A driver's license is required.
A work history/resume is required.
A completed skills checklist within one year is required.
License verification is required.
A copy of required certifications is required.
One supervisory reference is required at the time of submission.
Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.
Local candidates may be accepted with a 10% rate reduction.
Weekend call is required, typically one weekend per month,
including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday,
and approximately four weekday calls per month.
Holiday call may be needed for coverage.
