Job Title: Operating Room Circulator Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday-Friday Hours per Shift: 2-8 hour shifts and 2-12 hour shifts Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current licensure by the state board of nursing Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching to patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
