Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,540 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Neuro/Spine/ENT License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Extensive experience in Hepatobiliary, Whipple, and Abdominal Organ transplant. Proficient in complex Spine, ENT, Neuro, and intrabdominal transplant procedures. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room setting. The average daily census is between 20-28 patients. There are 17 operating rooms available in the unit. The nurse should be open to taking call shifts after their scheduled shift until 6:30 AM. Response time to calls is 45 minutes. The amount of call required will depend on unit needs and may change. The average call commitment is 5-6 shifts in a 6-week period. Weekend coverage expectations require working every other weekend. The nurse will float within their scope to meet facility needs. The position requires proficiency in various surgical procedures including, but not limited to, Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion, Craniotomy, Laminectomy, and Organ donation surgeries. Candidates must possess strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position supports interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response teams. The role will involve both circulating and scrubbing as needed. All candidates must complete additional compliance requirements prior to commencement.
