Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,541 per week in New Orleans, LA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in operating room, focused on neuro and orthopedic spine surgery. License: Compact or state license must be in hand upon submittal. Certifications: - BLS required - AWHONN Intermediate required for Labor and Delivery Must-Have: - Extensive experience in neuro and orthopedic spine, and craniotomy is required. - Experience in other service lines, such as general, ENT, and robotics is a plus. - Neuro call required. - No first-time travelers accepted. Description: Upon accepting this assignment and starting your role, the unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed during each emergency event. Candidate must have at least 3 years of neuro surgery experience and orthopedic spine experience. Please only submit qualified candidates. If the candidate does not meet the specialty experience, they will be removed from consideration. Candidate should be comfortable with emergency event duties. Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from the system for one full year before they can return as travelers. Modules are billable and completed during orientation.
