Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,544 per week in Arlington, VA

Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. No weekends or holidays. Late stay sign-up required. 13-week assignment.

Highlights:

• Outpatient surgical pavilion setting with 6 operating rooms and an average daily census of 35 patients
• Diverse case mix including General, Gynecological, Breast/Plastics, Urology, Orthopedic, Podiatry, and Ophthalmology procedures
• Epic electronic medical records system with required orientation training
• Collaborative interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, radiology, lift teams, and rapid response teams
• Opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patient populations in an ambulatory surgical environment
• 24 hours of orientation with floating to main OR as needed

Requirements:

• Active Virginia RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
• Proficiency across multiple OR specialties, particularly Orthopedics, Breast/Plastics, Urology, Gynecology, and General Surgery
• Experience with ambulatory OR and laparoscopic assisted procedures preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience and trauma level experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccination required during flu season, October 1 - March 31 (medical exemptions only)
• Smoke/nicotine-free facility compliance required
