Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,546 per week in Cedar Rapids, IA

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current operating room experience required. License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required. Certifications: - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. - Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Must-Have: - Proficient experience in DaVinci robotics required. - Proficient experience in vascular cases required, including TCAR, TAVR, bypass, endarterectomy, embolectomy, and AV fistula. - Proficient experience in general surgery required. - Experience with EPIC EMR required. - Travel experience within the previous 15 months required. - Scrub experience preferred. - Spine experience preferred. Description: This position involves quickly interviewing viable candidates. Candidates must be located at least 50 miles from the facility. Past employees cannot work travel in another market. If a candidate has previously worked travel under any capacity, the separation policy applies. Candidates are required to work 1-2 of the upcoming Summer holidays unless the unit is closed. The unit consists of 141 beds with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Robotics equipment used includes Da Vinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa. A clinical interview pre-screening is required with a local area code. A professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager within the last 24 months is preferred. A driver’s license is required.
