Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,552 per week in Auburn, NY

The role requires proficiency in various surgical procedures and techniques. Floating to different departments may be needed based on facility needs. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend and every other holiday. All requests for time off must be included during the initial submission. Nurses must independently measure telemetry strips and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms as they will not have telemetry technicians. A minimum score of 80% on a telemetry assessment during orientation is required for those in relevant departments. Nurses must be adept at identifying heart blocks and various arrhythmias. Familiarity with the appropriate clinical interventions in response to arrhythmias is essential. Former employees cannot be submitted for traveler positions. Previous travelers are eligible to return as long as they are in good standing. All required certifications must be up to date prior to starting the position. The facility provides training on the EMR system used for patient records. Travel pairs can be considered on a case-by-case basis.
