Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,584 per week in Baltimore, MD

# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Operating Room – MarylandStart Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Schedule: 40 hours per week including two 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, varying Monday-Friday) and two 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, EVERY Saturday and Sunday); Call required based on unit needsHighlights:

• General Operating Room position at a Level II trauma center with approximately 40 cases per day
• Comprehensive surgical experience required across multiple specialties including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Orthopedics, Robotics, Vascular, and Thoracic procedures
• Charting system: Cerner/Surginet with da Vinci robotic surgical system experience
• Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with 1:1 OR nursing ratio
• Contract length up to 365 days with scrubs provided
• Advanced technology environment supporting minimally invasive techniques, evidence-based care, and interdisciplinary collaboration

Requirements:

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma course required (must be completed by week 27)
• 8 hours annual trauma CEUs required
• ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications preferred
• Proficiency required in thoracic procedures, ENT procedures, endoscopic procedures, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and trauma cases
• Experience with emergency OR response, fire safety, malignant hyperthermia protocols, and latex allergy precautions required
• Experience with electrosurgical units, fiber-optic equipment, and Steris equipment required
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome
