Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,667 per week in Selma, AL

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday-Friday Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 4 years recent OR RN experience in a hospital setting License: Must have a valid RN license Certifications: Must have ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Must-Have: Experience in OR Circulator with Endoscopy experience. Facility specialties include Endoscopy, Orthopedic, and General surgeries. Experience in ENT and GYN is preferred. Description: The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment. Leadership is essential in anticipating and planning for patient care in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN collaborates with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and other personnel. Patient care is provided according to relevant standards and hospital policies. Responsibilities include ensuring supplies and timeliness of cases. Communication with families is a key aspect of patient care. The RN updates physician preference cards and assists physicians during surgical cases. Supervision of personnel delivering patient care is also a part of the role. Call duty is required seven days per month, including one weekend. Call hours will be from 3 PM to 6:30 AM.
