# Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – OhioStart Date: November 2, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Variable shift (days/evenings), 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts; call required Monday-Friday 2100-0630 and weekends 0630-1900 and 1900-0630; holiday/weekend coverage based on unit needsHighlights:
Level 1 Trauma Center with 18-bed OR performing 45-50 surgical procedures daily
Diverse case mix including general surgery, robotic surgery, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, plastics, burns, urology, GYN, and transplant procedures
Advanced technology environment utilizing DaVinci Xi Surgical System and Epic charting system
13-week assignment with up to one pre-approved time off period and 3 weekend shifts per contract as needed
Opportunity to work with a high-acuity patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Float capability required to different units within the organization as needed
Requirements:
Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
CRITICAL: DaVinci Xi Robot experience required (proficiency level 3 or 4)
CRITICAL: Liver transplant experience required
CRITICAL: Must have experience in at least one of the following: Neurosurgery OR Orthopedics
Scrub experience required
Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
2 professional references required (at least 1 from manager/director or formal supervisor)
Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
