Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of General Surgery experience required. License: Must have a valid RN license. Certifications: Current BLS certification required. Must-Have: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years. Travel experience required. Supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience in the previous 3 years. Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the surgical setting. Candidates must have experience with a variety of surgical procedures. This role involves working closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes. The nurse must demonstrate proficiency in basic and advanced nursing skills relevant to the operating room. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This position also requires an understanding of infection control protocols and safety measures in the operating room. The nurse will be expected to manage patient care preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively. On-call shifts may be assigned as part of the role. Scrubs will be provided for this position.
