Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines. Utilizes critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in daily operations. Collects relevant data pertinent to patient health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain desired outcomes. Implements care plans and coordinates care delivery effectively. Employs strategies to promote health and ensure a safe environment.
