Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (10:45 - 21:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in Operating Room settings. Charge experience preferred. License: Must have an active nursing license in hand. Certifications: Required certifications include BCLS. Must-Have: Candidates must have experience with the following within the last 3 years: General Surgery Orthopedic Surgery Robotic Surgery Gynecological Surgery Thoracic Surgery Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery Oral Surgery Urology Whipple Procedures Plastic Surgery (free flap) Liver Resection Experience with DaVinci XI surgical systems. Description: We are seeking a registered nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This position requires a strong background and experience in various surgical procedures. Candidates should be prepared for a call requirement of 40-60 hours in a 6-week schedule. Travelers should expect to work in a charge capacity when asked. Scrub experience is considered a plus. This is a Monday through Friday position with additional call and holiday rotations. The average daily census is between 70 to 80 patients. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate as part of a team are essential. Floating within the hospital or affiliate hospitals may be required.
