Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,705 per week in Willimantic, CT

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM (07:00 – 15:30) Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Proficient in Ambulatory Surgical setting and Phase I/II Recovery setting - Proficient in IV starts - Proficient in recognizing aberrant cardiac rhythms - Proficient with EPIC charting Description: Hours are 8 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours shifts, dependent on the needs of the surgical schedule. On-call approximately one day every 11 days during the week and one weekend every 11 weeks on a rotating basis. This is a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgical department that has experienced a recent large volume, low acuity expansion of patients. Types of surgeries performed include Total Joint, Orthopedic Spine, Arthroscopic ACL/PCL Repair, and repair of fractures (hip, wrist, etc.). Other surgeries include GYN (not OB) - hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, General Surgery, Robotic da Vinci, MAKO, Globus, Urology laser litho, TURBT, TURP, and Endoscopy. This department does not perform heart, head, pediatric, OB, ENT, or eye surgeries. Plan to hit the ground running.
