Description:
An experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse is needed for a night shift position.
The nurse will work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
Flexibility is essential for this role, though on-call duties are not required.
Weekend shifts are expected, with staff typically scheduled for one to two weekends per month depending on patient volume.
The surgical unit primarily handles vascular, orthopedic, and robotic cases.
Candidates should be dependable and committed, as excessive requests for time off will not be accommodated.
This position requires proficiency in two of the three mentioned specialties: vascular, orthopedic, and robotic.
Patient demographics in the unit include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
The unit utilizes electronic documentation systems.
Candidates with previous charge experience are preferred.
Teaching or community hospital experience is required.
Trauma Level 2 experience is required, while Level 1 experience is preferred.
Candidates must have prior experience working in a general operating room setting.
Certifications such as ACLS and CNOR are preferred.
