Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 8 hour days plus call Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS & ACLS Required Must-Have: - Must have experience in Neuro and be well versed in all surgical procedures. - Staff must be able to perform in various service lines as there are no specialized teams. - Candidates must live outside a specified radius from the facility and not currently work for affiliated organizations. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the operating room setting. Experience in neurosurgery, orthopedic, GYN, general, and other specialties is required. The team operates in a total of 7 operating rooms and 2 endoscopy suites. The nurse will be expected to assist with a variety of cases involving adults, geriatrics, pediatric, and obstetric patients. Flexibility for varied daily surgical schedules is vital in this role. Teamwork and a commitment to safety are essential attributes for success in this department. The nurse may be required to float to Pre/Post Op and PACU if trained. Call responsibilities include one night a week and every 5th or 6th weekend. Rotating holiday call will also be part of the scheduling. Dress code will be provided, and the facility has a strict policy against artificial nails for all patient care staff. It is important to maintain a collaborative atmosphere and support fellow team members.
