Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care throughout all phases of surgery
Assist in preparing the operating room and ensuring sterile conditions
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes during surgical procedures
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation of surgical care and patient status
Educate patients and families about preoperative and postoperative care
Travel to the assignment location and integrate smoothly into the OR team

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS and PALS certifications
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in an Operating Room setting
