Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,753 per week in Boston, MA

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hours Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of inpatient OR experience, level 1 trauma preferred License: N/A Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Basic Life Support (BLS) Description: MID - 12hr 36hr D/E Rotation. Start times are 7 AM on day shift, and 9 AM and 11 AM on evenings. Every 3rd weekend as needed. Every other holiday required. On call: 1 time per schedule. May float to other operating rooms if needed. Previous permanent staff are not eligible to be submitted as travelers. Department details: Surgical services include general, gynecological, genitourinary, oral, otolaryngological, bariatrics, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine. Number of operating rooms is 17. Operating room is staffed 24/7. Candidates should have a positive attitude, be flexible, and must be competent in at least 5 of the services listed above. Excellent communication skills are required. Preferred experience includes neurological and vascular specialties, as well as proficiency in general, gynecological, and genitourinary scrubbing.
