Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,754 per week in Omaha, NE

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required. Level 2 trauma experience required; Level 1 strongly preferred. Must have experience in oncology surgery and general surgery. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: BLS required. ACLS preferred. Must-Have: Oncology Surgery experience with general surgery experience is required. Experience with the following types of cases is required: Whipple, Esophagectomy, Ex Lap, Bowel resection, Thyroidectomy, Parathyroidectomy, Adrenalectomy-Laparoscopic, Neck dissection, Breast reduction, Stage one and two breast reconstruction, Free Flaps, Mastectomy, Lumpectomy, Sentinel lymph node biopsy, Melanoma excisions. DaVinci experience is highly preferred. 100% nicotine-free facility. Description: Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with oncology surgery expertise. The nurse will be required to float as needed. Must provide interview availability for the next 3-4 days. Orientation will include operating room training, primarily on day shifts, with potential night shift rotations. There may be off-shifting once every 4-week scheduling period. Average call requirement is 1-2 nights per week and weekend call approximately every 4-5 weeks. Travelers are not accepted if located within 100 miles. All travelers must comply with facility guidelines regarding call-backs and extended shifts. Experience working in a fast-paced environment is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in oncology, orthopedics, and neurology. Candidates must be able to manage a wide variety of surgical cases.
