Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Must be open to floating between like units Must be willing to work weekends, with one Saturday shift in a six-week rotation Must be willing to take on-call shifts, with 2-3 call shifts in a six-week rotation Description: This position requires a highly skilled registered nurse specializing in the operating room. The nurse will perform a variety of surgical procedures and provide exceptional patient care. Candidates with experience in diverse surgical specialties such as general, gynecology, urology, and orthopedics are encouraged to apply. A full range of surgical experience is required, including but not limited to hysterectomy, appendectomy, and joint replacement. The nurse will be expected to collaborate effectively with surgeons and surgical teams. The position may involve floating to other facilities within the state as needed. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to all hospital policies and procedures. All travelers are expected to have flexibility regarding their schedule and assignments. References will be required, covering a specified duration of experience within the last few years. A fire safety certification will also be necessary prior to the start of the assignment.
