Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,814 per week in Apple Valley, CA

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS preferred, BLS required Must-Have: Strong surgical skills, ability to float between main OR and outpatient surgery center Description: The position requires an Operating Room Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years of experience. All necessary skills are required for this role. Candidates will be expected to float between the main OR and outpatient surgery center as needed. Weekends will be required, usually at least every other weekend, with the possibility of increased obligations to meet the needs of the unit. Candidates must have experience in a variety of surgical procedures. Experience with Epic charting is highly preferred. Candidates are not allowed to submit requests for time off due to outside employment. The facility offers a supportive environment with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and respiratory services. The main Operating Room consists of six surgical suites covering various specialties. This role includes the management of multiple patient demographics, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates must also respond to on-call duties as needed. All surgical skills outlined in the job description must be current. Preference will be given to those with additional experience and certifications. Completing any required modules prior to starting will be expected.
