Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,834 per week in Des Moines, IA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Monday - Thursday Hours per Shift: 10 hours (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM) Experience: - 24 months of current operating room experience - Trauma Level II experience required - Experience in circulating and operating room preferred - Scrub experience highly preferred - Experience in general, davinci robotics, pediatrics, and trauma required - Additional experience in neurology, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, or vascular preferred License: Active Iowa/IA license or compact/multistate license Certifications: - BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Skills checklist specific to Operating Room Nurse - Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager within the last 24 months - Valid driver’s license Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The RN will handle patient care in a dynamic operating room setting. The role requires expertise in a range of surgical procedures including trauma and pediatrics. Candidates must be skilled in circulating and scrubbing functions. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment with an average caseload of 35-50 cases per day. Expectations for turnovers are less than 20 minutes. Experience with advanced technologies such as da Vinci robots and stealth technology is preferred. The RN will work night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. Holiday rotation is required except when the unit is closed. The RN may be required to float across multiple campuses.
