Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,834 per week in Des Moines, IA

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours (12:30 PM - 9:00 PM or 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM for 4x10s) Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current operating room experience required. License: Active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: - 24 months of current operating room experience. - Circulating and operating room experience. - Experience with General, Davinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases. - EPIC electronic medical records experience within the last 3 years. - Experience in Trauma Level II. - Previous travel assignment completed within the last 15 months. Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. A minimum of 24 months of recent operating room experience is required. Circulating and scrubbing experience is preferred. Experience with General surgeries, Davinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma is required. Additional experience with Client, Orthopedics (primarily trauma), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, and ENT is highly preferred. Candidates must have experience in a Trauma Level I or Level II facility. The average caseload is between 35-50 cases per day. Expectations for turnover between cases is less than 20 minutes. The facility has 16 operating rooms, routinely running 12-14. Nurses will be required to float across various campuses. Travelers may be required to be on call during weekends. Candidates will need to be prepared to work 1-2 of the upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed. All interested candidates must have a robust work history and skills checklist relevant to the Operating Room Nurse discipline. References from within the last 24 months will be preferred.
