Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a 12-room Operating Room at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Scrub and/or circulate for a variety of surgical procedures including Neuro, Spine, Total Joint, General Surgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Urology, and Cardiac (CABG & Valves).
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Prepare operating rooms, maintain sterile fields, and ensure proper use of perioperative equipment.
Monitor patients throughout the surgical process and respond promptly to intraoperative needs.
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage as scheduled.
Float to Pre-Op as needed.
Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and professionalism in a fast-paced OR environment.
