Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Required RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, BSN preferred Must-Have: Previous travel assignment experience required Scrub and circulate experience required Description: Ability to float to other facilities. Experience with otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, and craniotomy procedures. Experience with oral and maxillofacial surgery and plastic surgery. Experience with dental surgery and combined neurosurgery/ohr procedures. Experience with open and endoscopic surgical cases. Experience with free flap reconstructive procedures. Experience with liver and kidney transplants. Neuro experience, spine, and vascular experience preferred. Experience with the Da Vinci Xi surgical system is preferred. A minimum patient ratio of 1 is standard. Supporting specialties in the unit include interpretation services and pharmacy. Daily patient cases may include diagnoses such as appendicitis, cholestasis, hernia, obesity, and various cancers. Special procedures include laparoscopic cases, robotic cases, and open surgical cases.
