Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years License: Required in Wisconsin or Compact Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with heavy robotics, orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, urology, gynecology, plastics, ENT, eye surgery, podiatry, spine, and neurosurgery is needed. Previous charge experience is preferred. Charting system experience is required, specifically with Epic. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in the Operating Room. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. The position requires knowledge of heavy robotics and various surgical specialties. Candidate will be responsible for managing patient care during surgical procedures. On-call duties will be required 2-3 days per week and every 4-5 weekends. Candidates should be prepared to cover call shifts if requesting time off. All staff members are expected to handle various specialties without set teams. Robotic surgical systems, including Da Vinci Xi, and specialized equipment like Hana tables, will be utilized. The surgical unit involves a heavy focus on robotic procedures across multiple specialties. Candidates must be adaptable and able to support a variety of surgical cases. This position offers extensive opportunities to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
