Job Title: Nursing Administration Profession: Nursing Specialty: Nursing Administration Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: 2-3 years of acute care experience required. License: Required License includes BLS, ACLS, etc. Certifications: National Certification as needed. Must-Have: Must have experience in scrubbing and circulating for various cases. Description: Facility is a Level I Trauma Center with Magnet Designation. It has a comprehensive stroke center and 794 beds. The unit has 28 beds, including 2 hybrid rooms for CV/Vascular. Average daily census is approximately 60-75 cases. Patient types include outpatient, inpatient, and trauma. Common diagnoses consist of GSW, stabbings, transplant cases, and general surgeries across various specialties. The hybrid room handles 5-10 cases per day, depending on the scheduled cases. Adults only; includes procedures such as TAVR, AAA, and endarterectomies. Participation in Gifts of Hope cases may be required. The position requires critical care experience and EPIC experience. Technological equipment includes EMR: EPIC and IV Pump: Alaris. Support within the Department includes charge nurses, nurse managers, resource nurses, and educators. Weekend rotation is every 4th weekend. Shifts may also include a mix of early, late, and weekend hours. Time required for on-call duties varies based on shifts. Response time for on-call is 30 minutes. Sleeping accommodations are available for on-call team members. This role may require holiday coverage.
