Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,951 per week in Chicago, IL

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: RN Medical Center Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Nurses must be able to circulate in ENT and ortho. Scrub experience is required. Description: The facility has 205 beds. It features a Level II NICU. The unit has 6 beds, including 5 general and 1 urology. Average patient census is required. Patient types include General, GYN, Urology, ENT, Vascular, spinal, dental, and complex cases. Support within the department includes a unit secretary. The charge nurse does take an assignment. A resource nurse is available. Respiratory therapy is provided 24/7. Clientists and intensivists are also available 24/7. Technology includes EMR: EPIC, IV Pump: Alaris, and Med dispensing: Pyxis. Floating for RN is not required. CST, Surgical Assistants, and Anesthesia Tech may float to various units based on needs to act as sitters. Weekend rotation requires being on call 2-3 times per week. One weekend call per month is expected. Holiday expectations include being on call. Approval of requested time off goes through management. Scrub color is provided.
