Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $3,065 per week in Boston, MA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:45 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of pediatric operating room experience required License: MA RN required Certifications: BLS, PALS required Must-Have: Proficiency in working within a high-acuity operating room; previous charge experience preferred; trauma level I experience required Description: Main OR manager is seeking a registered nurse with pediatric experience. Proficiency in the operating room is essential. The level of acuity within the unit is high. Short call may be required up to three times every six weeks from 17:15 to 19:15. Up to four off shifts may be required every six weeks. One weekend shift and one weekend call may also be required every six weeks. Holiday shift and call coverage may be needed as required by the unit. Typically, travelers will only be assigned three short-call shifts in a six-week block, usually at the end of their shift. The charge nurse will provide advance notice regarding the likelihood of short-call needs before the end of the shift. Pediatric OR experience is a must.
